Installing & Connecting Ubuntu in VirtualBox ~ Part 2

After we successfully installed the Ubuntu in VirtualBox, then we will tried to connecting the Ubuntu in VirtualBox with Backtrack.

1. First step, open the VirtualBox Manager. And choose the Ubuntu Virtual Machine.

 2. After we choose the Ubuntu virtual machine, then click Settings button.

 

3. Then will appear window Ubuntu - Settings. Click the Network and then change the Network Adapter atacched to Bridge Adapter, and Name wlan0. Then click "OK".

4. If we choose the Bridge Adapter, then the Ubuntu should get an IP adress from DHCP. But in my practice, it didn't happen. So I must insert manually the IP address. I set to IP 192.168.2.182 for Ubuntu IP address. And tried to ping the Backtrack IP, that have IP address 192.168.2.14. And the result is Reply.

 

 5. I also tried to ping 3 all of them each other, the Windows XP, Ubuntu, and the Backtrack, and the result is also Reply.
