Advanced Information Gathering using Maltego

After we learn about Information Gathering now we will learn about Advanced Information Gathering. So, what is Advanced Information Gathering? Advanced Information Gathering is more than just Information Gathering.

Advanced Information Gathering is more complex than Information Gathering. We search more information about the target. According to the given task, do advanced information gathering about one of website. We can use maltego to gathering more information about website.

First, open the maltego application...

And then will open window like below..

For new project click the document icon at top of window program. Or you can click the maltego button that shaped around, then click new. If you've clicked the button then, the window will apear like below.

On the left side, click the pallete button to set the information gathering option. Select the domain on the infrastucture option, then drag into the workspace.

 Change the default domain to domain target. You can change it in the Properti View > Domain Name.

Then Right click on the target, "Run Transform", and you can choose what information you want. For example, in here i choose "All Transform". It will show you much information.

We can find a lot of information with maltego. So improve the practice of using maltego.
